Vampire Facial® and the Vampire Facelift®
The Vampire Facial®
Bar & Kim Receive the Vampire Facial® Procedure
Do You Show These 3 Signs of Aging?
1. Skin color becomes more gray because of less blood flow.
2. Facial Shape becomes collapsed and droopy as muscle and collagen decrease.
3. Skin texture becomes less smooth. As a result, the person looks “worn”, or “tired” or “droopy.” The lively, rosy hue (seen plainly in playing children of every skin color and in young adults) fades to a dull gray.
4 Steps of the Vampire Facial® Procedure
First, the physician (1) isolates growth factors from the patient’s blood – (Known as PRP).
Then (2), the provider uses our SkinPen Elite micro-needling device to create multiple micro-punctures –both driving the isolated growth factors (PRP) into the skin & creating stimulus for tightening and rejuvenation of the collagen of the face.
Then (3), these provider paints the growth factors onto the micro-punctures so that the growth factors soak into the tissue for further stimulation of tightening and skin rejuvenation.
The skin tightens, and glows with color, and scaring softens for a beautiful younger and very natural result.
PRP is an all-natural solution created within a sample of the patient’s own blood. During your appointment, a blood sample will be drawn from you through a very fine needle. This sample will be spun in a centrifuge to separate the blood’s components. Regenerative properties within the sample will bond with the blood plasma, creating the PRP solution.

Unlike most procedures, the Vampire Facelift (R) offers a way of both restoring shape, and improving tone and texture, as well as literally rejuvenating new and younger tissue!
For Cedar Park and surronding Austin area residents who are looking for another way to look naturally younger, the Vampire Facelift® is an exciting option.
The Vampire Facelift® differs from other forms of facelifts in that it does not involve any surgical incisions. Vampire Facelift® is a combination of SkinPen micro-needling + volumizers (Derma Fillers – i.e. Juvederm) + PRP (isolated stem cells from our own blood) that are injected under the skin to bring back your youthful smoother rosier skin, naturally.
Only doctors who have been trained and certified by the inventor of the procedure (Dr. Charles Runels) may perform the trademarked “Vampire Facelift®”. Dr. Laurette Smith is certified to perform this procedure and has a passion for Skin Health and Rejuvenation with her clients.
Vampire Facelift® can lift droopy eyes, and help minimize the sagging jowls around the chin and cheek areas.
Vampire Facelift ® Procedure Explained…
Micro-needling with SkinPen (only – no Vampire)
Our SkinPen Micro-needling treatment uses microscopic needles which create “micro-injuries” in the skin, stimulating the body’s own healing response which increases collagen and elastin production. This tightens the skin and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Ultra Skin Tightening
Vampire Facial/Facelift + Ultrasound and Radiofrequency (RF) for Ultra Skin Tightening
We combine the Vampire Facial or Facelift with radiofrequency energy for enhanced anti-aging benefits. Adding BTL Exilis Ultra with ultrasound and radiofrequency (RF) to the treatment delivers stimulating electrical energy into the skin, heating the targeted area. This heats collagen, which in turn promotes new collagen production, tightening the area. This is an excellent option if you want to improve skin wrinkles, skin tightening and laxity or reduce scars.
What Can You Expect During a Treatment?
Don’t let the term “Micro needling” scare you. It’s a quick treatment – usually 30 minutes to 1 hour. Patients report that it feels like a light sandpaper being moved across the skin, but we are happy to apply a topical numbing cream to make the treatment as comfortable and pain-free as possible. The combination of microneedles and heat is what makes this such effective facial treatment tool.
Microneedles are pushed into the skin to a certain depth, and then RF energy is released. The warming needles go directly into the skin tissue to stimulate collagen so that new collagen fibers are produced. Because the epidermis and its top layers are protected during treatments. Our BTL Exilis Ultra is suitable for use on all skin types.
Which Areas Can You Treat?
Micro needling can treat and improve your skin’s condition over several areas of the body including:
Face Neck Décolleté Arms Hands Legs Abdomen Back Stretch Marks
How SkinPen with PRP Works
We begin this ultimate skin rejuvenation experience with micro-needling to stimulate the body’s natural healing and collagen regeneration processes. PRP is then administered into the region where our SkinPen micro-needling has already begun working to renew the skin.
The micro-channels created from SkinPen micro-needling serve as a direct pathway to the foundational layers of the skin. The PRP solution can more effectively rejuvenate the skin beyond the superficial layer to promote results you need to see to believe.
What results can I expect from SkinPen PRP micro-needling skin rejuvenation?
Patients who are rejuvenated through our SkinPen PRP micro-needling combination can see much faster, more noticeable results of younger-looking skin as opposed to both treatments alone.
PRP and Microneedling For Stretch Mark Reduction- How Does It Work?
PRP and Micropen combination treatment is a relatively newer treatment option for stretch mark reduction for our Dallas and Southlake patients. We have found this treatment option to be very effective in reducing stretch marks in our patients, even the ones with longer duration of stretch marks.* We also find this treatment to have several advantages over CO2 fractional laser or other laser resurfacing treatments:
* Individual results may vary
- Less painful than CO2 fractional laser which makes it more easily tolerated by all skin types
- Pigment neutral, which makes it suitable for a wider patient population, even darker skin tones.
- Less downtime. There is mild redness for 2-3 days from the micropen and 5-7 days of mild bruising and swelling from PRP injections
- PRP enhances the results of any minimally invasive skin treatment by way of the growth factors in PRP which means enhanced collagen synthesis after your treatment.
